memorymapping.com is derived from Memory Mapping, both a process and a project created in 2000/2001 and exhibited in April 2001 by artist Megan Hurst. Memory Mapping involved the participation of Megan's acquaintances, friends and family members - all of whom had lived in some common locations either at the same or differing times - and each of whom drew maps of each place they had lived from memory. : http://www.expandedfield.com/memorymapping/about.cfm

The top 10% of highly cited PNAS papers were analyzed to reveal keywords listed with high frequency or rapid initial appearance (burst). The size of the circle indicates the magnitude of the burst, and the colors indicate the year in which the word appeared most frequently. Interconnections reveal those words frequently listed in the same publication. http://www.pnas.org/content/vol101/suppl_1/index.shtml
